We had two very good rounds before arriving at Assen with a lot of confidence which is always nice so I’m looking forward to it. It will be a busy weekend for me with a lot of friends and family but it’s great."

Stefano Manzi comes to the TT Circuit Assen in top form after finishing second in Race 1 in Barcelona and winning Race 2. The Italian will want to maintain this form this weekend and do his best to close the 11-point gap to the world championship leader.

Oncu is returning to a track where he suffered serious injury, but he is now almost fully recovered. In Superbike we have some important technical updates that should allow us to take another step forward.”

Kyle Ryde is fastest on the first day of the Navarra BSB test

Ryde’s fastest lap came in the morning session, 0.475s faster than his pace-setting lap last year at the Spanish circuit following the recent track upgrades including partial resurfacing and the reprofiled turn six.

Todd said: “I am really excited about racing at Navarra and the new venture with the Powertoolmate Ducati V2 for the roads season so to test and race it at Navarra will start us off on the right foot. The bike has already been proven so it is just me that has to gel and get used to the bike."

The OMG GRILLA Yamaha team made a positive return to BSB action this weekend, with Kyle Ryde and Ryan Vickers ending the two days of wind-affected action first and third on the overall timesheets. 

Productive start for McAMS Racing at Donington BSB Test

The two-day test was a process of getting up to speed for both rider and team, with clear progress made across each session with Danny Kent ending the weekend seventh on the combined time classification with a fastest lap of 1’28.664.

Honda Racing UK back in action at BSB Donington Park Test

In blustery conditions, Honda Racing UK made its return to UK race circuits in the first official Bennetts British Superbike test of the year at Donington Park.
