Johann Zarco has a fantastic weekend in MotoGP at Argentina for LCR Honda

Securing a front row start in qualifying, P4 in the sprint race and P6 in the main race, Zarco and the team had a great weekend in Argentina.

Toprak is fastest on both days at Portimao WorldSBK test

Toprak Razgatlioglu was back on form at Portimao, topping the times in testing. Drier conditions than in Day 1 helped riders push harder early in the day in Day 2, by 9:40 local time (+0:00 UTC), four riders had already broken into the 1’41s mark; whereas at this time in Day 1, riders had not even taken to the track yet, and by the end of the day, only 12 riders hit that mark.

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): "Unfortunately, even in these tests we were unable to carry out the work fully due to the adverse weather; furthermore, the track conditions and the climate, very windy and cold, were completely different compared to last year, so much so that we had to change the set-up. We mainly focused the work on corner entry and on the electronics connection..."

Supported riders Peter Hickman, Richard Cooper and Michael Dunlop at the Daytona 200

Both Peter Hickman and Michael Dunlop finished in the top ten at the Daytona 200, with Peter leading the race at one point. Unfortunately due to a technical issue, Richard Cooper had to retire.

The team have been working hard behind the scenes ready to debut at the first tests later this month as they made the move to Honda for the new season. DAO Racing also welcome an all-new line up for the forthcoming campaign with double Bennetts BSB champion Josh Brookes and Lee Jackson, who joins the team after a podium-finishing year last season on the Honda.

Johann Zarco: “It was a tough race due to the high track temperatures, but I knew everyone was struggling, so I focused on conserving energy for the final stages. I felt increasingly comfortable on the bike and was able to overtake rivals, allowing us to achieve our goal. This result is a great way to start the season."
