Taka Nakagami takes points in Jerez, whereas Johann Zarco has an unlucky weekend for LCR Honda

Johann Zarco had an unfortunate weekend with crashes in both the Sprint Race and Main Race, but Taka Nakagami finished 14th in the Main Race to take points for the team. LCR Honda and the rest of the MotoGP grid have a test today to iron out any issues with the bikes.

Josh Brookes and Peter Hickman wrap up the opening BSB round at Navarra

With Peter Hickman developing arm pump at the start of race one (something he doesn't normally suffer with), and Josh getting struck by another rider at the start and then crashing out on lap 6, the team hoped for more luck in race 2. They finished 10th and 11th in the second race to take home some championship points.

In the team’s first race of the year, Jack Kennedy delivered a composed performance to fire his Supersport CBR600RR onto the podium in third place. Fighting against bikes with greater engine capacity was always going to be difficult on a circuit with seven stop-start turns, but Jack expertly utilised the turning capabilities of his bike.

Debut pole position and double podium finish for McAMS Racing and Danny Kent at Navarra

After securing pole position in qualifying on Saturday, Danny went on to secure third place in Race One and second place in Race Two on Sunday. Considering Danny is now on a R1 from a Fireblade last season and with a brand new team, this makes their results even more admirable.
