It was a brilliant weekend for Eazi-Grip™ supported teams as they dominated the standings in BSB, WSBK and at the Bol d’Or 24-Hour Race.
The Milwaukee Aprilia team headed to Portugal for Round 10 of the WSBK championship this weekend. Eugene Laverty and Lorenzo Savadori had their best Superpole results of the 2017 season so far at Portimao taking P2 and P3 on the grid. The team had shown promising pace all weekend and were consistently within the top ten in Free Practice. Both riders delivered in the pole shootout session, with blistering laps that put them on the front row together for the first time and behind only series leader Rea.

The team return to France next year for the 24 Heures Motors in April where they look to continue their championship push.
Meanwhile, back in the UK the MCE British Superbike Championship Showdown got underway at Oulton Park with Eazi-Grip supported riders dominating the podium rostrum in both Race One and Race Two with JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider Leon Haslam topping the podium in the rain soaked opening race of the day. The action-packed Race Two ended in dramatic fashion with Haslam and Dan Linfoot crossing the line side by side with the Honda Racing Rider taking the win by 0.05 seconds. JG Speedfit’s Team Ricky and Ryan had their first race weekend of the season and started in fine form with their new Kawasaki machinery finishing 2nd in both of their races.
Young gun Luke Mossey had his first ever British Superbike win and made it a double topping the podium steps in both Race 1 and 2. Race one saw JG Speedfit’s Leon Haslam in second with Tyco BMW’s Christian Iddon finishing off the podium spots in third. Eazi-Grip™ had a positive start to the British Superbike season with a podium sweep in Race 1 at the Leicestershire circuit with Leon Haslam taking victory in both races and eight supported riders finishing in the top ten in both race one and two. Race one saw Haslam joined by his JG Speedfit teammate Luke Mossey on the second step of the podium followed by Tyco BMW’s Christian Iddon. After a great battle for the final podium spot, Race two saw Haslam taking the top step of the podium once again joined by Anvil Hire Yamaha’s Josh Brookes in second position.
The reigning Supersport Champion Tarran Mackenzie also took home his first piece of silverware for the McAMS Yamaha team winning the first race of the 2017 season. Eazi-Grip™ supported riders had great success in many of the support classes as well and we look forward to seeing everyone back on track in 2 weeks at Brands Hatch.
Great pleasure to have Buildbase BMW, British super bikes and road racing teams on board. Also having the Grips on all Micheal Dunlops TT winning bikes!
