Davey Todd will debut the Powertoolmate Ducati at the opening round of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Circuito de Navarra, lining up as a wildcard ahead of the team’s 2024 roads campaign.

The 2022 Pirelli National Superstock Champion will make his return to the class this year in a quest for a second title, however with the class not getting their season underway until Oulton Park next month, Todd has grabbed the opportunity to race the Ducati V2 for the first time next weekend.

Todd said: “I am really excited about racing at Navarra and the new venture with the Powertoolmate Ducati V2 for the roads season so to test and race it at Navarra will start us off on the right foot. The bike has already been proven so it is just me that has to gel and get used to the bike.

“I am looking forward to seeing how we get on at Navarra on the Ducati, it’s hopefully going to be a good one for sure. I need to say a special thanks to the Powertoolmate Ducati team for giving me this opportunity as I know it wasn’t in our original plan, but this is exciting for us all.”
