Team Go Eleven arrive at Assen to take on the Cathedral of Speed

An iconic stage for the world of two wheels, the TT-Circuit welcomes the Superbike World Championship in the now usual weekend at the end of April! Exciting circuit, scene of battles that have marked the history of Motorsport, one of the fastest in the world, so much so that it has earned the name of “Cathedral of Speed”, famous above all for the last chicane, the last chance to overtake for glory .

Team Go Eleven arrives on Dutch soil with a trend of positive results; after the excellent debut in Australia, Barcelona also proved to be a friendly track, obtaining second place in the Superpole Race. Here the temperature and climate are completely different compared to the Catalan round; the three days promises to be cold and with a very high probability of rain. It will be interesting to understand Andrea Iannone’s feeling with the Ducati Panigale V4-R in the event of wet sessions, it would be the first time ever in 2024. Furthermore, the track is very different from those faced so far, the tyre situation should prove more stable and “less manageable”, but the track will provide the verdict and the first feedback.

Andrea Iannone (Rider):

“It’s nice to be back in Assen, it’s been a long time since I’ve ridden on this circuit and I’m excited to be here. I hope it can be a positive weekend for us. We’re confident in the weather situation, which we hope to be favourable, at the moment it’s very cold but we’ll have to see in the next few hours how it will change. We will try to confirm the speed of the first two races and we will give it all as always to improve.”
