“I’ve finished my race. Today, I had a good start, but I got squeezed by other riders and went off the racing line. Initially, I tried to catch up with the group, and I stayed with them for 5 laps, but after that, I lost contact with the group, I had to continue alone. I maintained my pace. I lost a lot of time in turn 6 because I couldn’t turn my bike better at the corner. I hope in the next race, I can find a better setup for the front. Don’t forget to watch my upcoming race.”

#13 Hakim Danish – Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup
Friday
“In FP1, I finished the session in P19. During FP1, I tried to adapt because this track is new to me, and it’s also a new experience for me. I tried to find the rhythm, lap by lap. I worked on improving my riding style and lap times. In FP2, I finished the session in P23. I only completed a few laps before I had a crash at the last corner when Aditama hit me from behind. Then, in the qualifying session, I managed to secure P13. It was quite challenging for me at the start of the qualifying session. I tried to follow other riders, but many of them stopped and slowed down. Nevertheless, I managed to get a good lap time in the last lap. The qualifying session is important, and I had to push for a good starting position for Race 1 tomorrow. Don’t forget to pray for me and for the other Malaysian riders as well.”

“Race 1 at Misano has been completed, and I finished the race in P15. I only managed to collect 1 point. I started from P13, but this race was quite challenging for me as I struggled to find a fast pace. Yesterday, I could only do 1 quick lap, so it was tough to find a fast pace today. Nevertheless, I will give my best in race 2 tomorrow as it’s the final race of the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Pray that I can give my best tomorrow, and also for the other Malaysian riders. My bike is okay. It’s just a bit difficult for me and I’m not as fast on this track. I need to work harder on myself and my riding. I need to improve. I will review the mistakes I made in today’s race to bring to Race 2 tomorrow.”

Sunday
End of Red Bull Rookies Cup Round 7 in Misano. In race 2, I finished the race in P14. During the race, I improved my riding style and the setup of the bike. Because yesterday it was quite difficult for me to handle my bike in the corners, and today I felt a little more confident. During the race, it was somewhat challenging for me to be at the front. In the early stages of the race, I was with the front group, but then, in the middle of the race, I struggled and was behind the group, and I just tried to finish the race. Thanks to all the sponsors, my family, and everyone who supports me.”

#57 Danial Syahmi – Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup
Friday
“The FP1, FP2, and qualifying sessions went smoothly, and I completed the sessions safely. I finished FP1 with a satisfying position of P12. During FP2 and the qualifying session, I tried to find the best setup, but it was quite challenging to make a good lap time due to the traffic. I decided to stay behind that group, but by the time I arrived, they had already started to slow down. It was a bit struggling for me to improve my lap time, but I finished the qualifying session in P17. This is not what I expected for the starting position in tomorrow’s race. However, I will give it my all. This is also my last race in the Red Bull Rookies this season and the final round, so I will give my 100%”

Saturday
“I completed the race safely. However, I was unsatisfied and the race was quite tough for me. I started from the back in P17, and I had to do a Double Long Lap penalty. I had to complete the penalty within the first 5 laps. At the beginning of the race, things were going well, and I was with the group. But because of the Long Lap, I gapped with the group, and after completing one Long Lap, I tried to catch up. When I caught up, I had to do another Long Lap. So, it was challenging for me to stay with the group. I gave it my all to catch the group of riders, but I could only be with the last group as I had already taken the Long Lap penalty, which cost me a lot of time. I finished the race in P17. This was a tough race for me as I couldn’t secure any points. Tomorrow, there’s Race 2, and I will give it my 100% and do my best.”

“I am grateful that I finished the race safely. However, for me, this race was tougher than the first one. I had issues with the gear, making it difficult for me to overtake other riders and causing me to brake late. The gear problem sometimes made it hard for me to shift down and occasionally went into neutral. That made it a bit challenging for me to compete with the group. But I gave it my 100%. Unfortunately, today is my final race in the Red Bull Rookies Cup for this season, and this is not the result I wanted. Nonetheless, I finished safely, and there are more races ahead of me. I want to express my gratitude to all the sponsors, RNF, SIC Racing, and ZK Racing. Especially to my family, who has been praying for me, and to all Malaysian.”
