The Chang International Circuit, located in Buriram, Thailand, serves as the venue for Round 17 of the World Championship Grand Prix. The circuit is situated approximately 410km north of Bangkok and spans 4.55km with 7 right turns and 5 left turns. The Chang International Circuit has been part of the MotoGP calendar since 2018.
Damok is set to resume his positive performance in Buriram after failing to finish the race in the Australian GP last week when he skidded while in P14. Optimistic for this week’s race, Damok aims to secure points and continues to work hard with his team, giving his full effort at the Thai GP.
Not to be forgotten, the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) will also take place at the same circuit this week, alongside the World Championship Grand Prix. Four national riders, namely Farish Hafiy, Farres Putra, Adi Putra, and Ahmad Darwisy, will once again compete. Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday at 5:10 pm, and Race 2 on Sunday at 10:45 am.
The Thai GP is scheduled to run from 27 October to 29 October. The Moto3 race will commence at 1 pm Malaysia time on Sunday, featuring 19 laps.
Damok: “First of all, I can’t wait to perform at the Buriram Circuit. Even though it’s been 3 years since I last raced on this circuit, I still remember this track. I am also ready for the race this week, and I hope to secure a good position in the Thailand GP. My focus is to score points in the race.”
