#13 Hakim Danish – European Talent Cup

Saturday:

“The weather today is better than yesterday. There’s still some wind, but it’s a bit less, and we were allowed to continue the session with the bikes. In the Q1 session, it was a bit challenging for me to set a good lap time, so I decided to go into the pit. When I came back out, I pushed and managed to improve. However, in sectors 3 and the final sector, there were riders ahead who were moving at a slower pace. Although I improved my lap time, it wasn’t good enough for me, and I finished the session in P10. In the Q2 session, I tried to improve my time further. I adjusted the setup and looked for a group of riders. I successfully improved my lap time and finished the session in P4. When combining the lap times from both sessions, I finished in P6. I’m looking forward for the race tomorrow, and my goal is to chase the front group and overtake as many riders as possible. Don’t forget to pray for my success in tomorrow’s race, and thanks to all my sponsors, Sepang Circuit, ZK Racing, Terengganu Inc, my family, and everyone who supports me.”

Sunday:

“End of the final round in Valencia. In the race earlier, I started in P10 and managed to finish in the same position. The beginning of the race was quite challenging for me as the front group was quite fast, but I was able to maintain my momentum until the finish line. Upon reviewing the race, I found that my pace was similar to the front group, but I was behind at the start of the race. I ended this season in P17. At the beginning of the season, in Estoril, I successfully finished the race in P3 and stood on the podium. I was quite competitive at the start of the season but slightly less so in the middle of the season. In today’s last race, I managed to find a better rhythm, and I will strive to improve further in the future. I want to thank the Monlau team for providing me with a good bike this week and also to all my sponsors, SIC, ZK Racing, KBS, and Terengganu Inc. I also want to thank my family and all those who support me.”

#57 Danial Syahmi – Junior GP

Saturday:

”First of all, in the FP1 session up to QP, I struggled and was not very confident with the bike. Strong wind conditions made it difficult for me to ride as usual. Then, in the following practice session, I managed to improve my time by 1.3 seconds but couldn’t make it to Q2. In Q1, I did my best, but unfortunately, stronger wind conditions made it difficult for me to ride the bike, and I made many mistakes. I will start from P20 tomorrow, and I will do better than today. I hope Malaysians can continue to pray for my success.”

Sunday:

“In the race 1 earlier, I started from the pit lane and took a double long lap penalty. The penalty was my own mistake during the practice and qualifying sessions. This made it quite challenging for me to stay with the front group, but my team told me to keep doing my best, and I finished the race in P22. In race 2, I started the race in P20 and finished in P15. During the race 2, I struggled to stay in the group and was not very confident with the bike. Also, due to the strong wind conditions. I tried to push, but I made many mistakes. I gave my best and managed to secure one significant point for me because this is my final race in Europe for this year and the final race for the Junior GP Championship. I want to thank all Malaysians who prayed for my success, especially my family who has always supported me.”
