ZK Racing are ready for Moto3 in Qatar this weekend

The Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship continues this week for Round 19 at the Lusail International Circuit from 17 – 19 November. Traditionally the season opener since 2007, Qatar GP is now held at the end of the season this year, preceding the closing race in Valencia next week.

The race in Qatar is always eagerly anticipated in the MotoGP calendar as it has been held in the evening since 2008. The 5.38km circuit features 10 right turns and 6 left turns. Notably, the Lusail International Circuit has recently been resurfaced, promising competitive racing, especially in the battles for the Moto3 and MotoGP World Championship titles.

After a disappointing week at the Malaysian GP, Damok aims to refocus and deliver a better performance in Qatar. The goal for this week is to understand the circuit, secure a good bike setup, and earn race points.

This week also marks the final round for the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup. Due to an injury from a crash in Race 1 at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit last week, Farres Putra will not participate in the closing round. Farish Hafiy, Farres Putra, and Adi Putra will strive for their best in the closing race this week, providing a competitive race on the track.

The Moto3 race at Qatar GP is scheduled for Sunday at 10 p.m. with 18 laps. As for the ATC races, Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 10 p.m., and Race 2 on Sunday – both consisting of 12 laps.

“With two more races remaining, I arrive in Qatar with the same goal – I want to focus, be competitive in the race, and earn race points. With this newly resurfaced track, my team and I need to understand the conditions as early as on Friday, and we’ll see what needs to be done. The race at my home circuit last week didn’t go as I expected, so I need to keep looking forward and do my best for myself, the team, and all those who always support me.”
