Zarco is fastest in practice and finishes 9th in Brazil. Moreira finishes 13th on home soil.

#5 Johann Zarco – 1st (1’21.257) – Practice
“The different weather conditions helped us better understand the bike’s behaviour here. In the afternoon, I tried to push in every condition we encountered, as they were quite tricky, and I managed well. I only did a few laps, but they were enough in the rain to set a good lap time. Finishing first is great, we’ve done a great job! However, we won’t truly know our real performance until we have regular conditions. I like the track, I believe we can do something good here.”
#11 Diogo Moreira – 15th (1’22.355) – Practice
“It’s been a positive day overall. In the first practice session, it was fantastic to see so many fans at the track. We’re approaching it in the same way as any other race weekend, even though it’s my home Grand Prix, which gives me extra motivation. We’re in a strong moment, so it’s important to stay focused. In the afternoon, I had a crash and couldn’t improve my lap time, but that can happen when you’re pushing to the limit. We’re looking forward to the Sprint.”
#5 Johann Zarco – DNF – Sprint
“I was unlucky in the Sprint from the very beginning. Another rider had an issue, spun, and went sideways, and in trying to avoid him I lost many positions. In the first two laps I was able to regain positions and get back into the fight, but after that my pace wasn’t strong enough to catch Marini. Then I made a mistake, ran wide, and crashed due to a lack of grip. I’m fine, and we’ll try again tomorrow.”
#11 Diogo Moreira – 10th – Sprint
“It was a good day today. I learned a lot, and it was really useful to stay with the group. We need to keep finishing races and spend more time on the bike. I still have to improve my understanding of the lines, braking points, and especially tyre management. In the Sprint, everyone pushes from the first lap, so I need to better understand how to manage everything. We’re ready and excited for tomorrow.”
#5 Johann Zarco – 9th – Race
“I’m happy; today’s result is positive. I tried to manage everything as the temperatures were tough. I battled a bit and focused on keeping my pace. I was able to stay with the group and maximize our potential. Overall, it’s been a positive weekend, and we leave Brazil with high motivation for the next race in seven days, in Texas.”
#11 Diogo Moreira – 13th – Race
“We enjoyed the weekend; it was super busy, but everything went well! Today, the start was difficult as I lost many positions, that was the main challenge, and I had to make a bit of a comeback, which was tough. We had a good pace, and that’s important. The key thing is that we scored points and learned a lot. Thanks to everyone supporting me!”
