The INCompetition Aprilia team have successfully completed their pre season testing at Donington and Oulton Park.

Both Jack Bednarek and Alfie Davidson have settled in really well to their respective classes of British Superstock on the Aprilia RSV4 and Sportbike on the Aprilia RS660.

Jack was having a strong run at Donington but a big crash in the final session put an end to that. He was beaten up after that but went out at Oulton and put in some consistent lap times with big improvements over the two days.

Alfie has been flying in the Sportbike class and topped the time sheets at both Donington and Oulton and everyone were really pleased with the progress made and the times that were put in.

The opening round of the ZYN British Superbike series kicks off on May Bank Holiday weekend, 2nd – 4th May. The Aprilia team are ready as they’ll ever be to get going.

Ian Newton – Team Owner: “We’ve had two successful tests and made some positive changes for both riders to help with knowledge and set up on their Aprilias.

The crash at Donington has dented Jacks confidence a little but I know that is an easy fix and he’ll be back on form for round one. He was doing some great lap times at Donington and beginning to understand the Aprilia RSV4 well.

Alfie has been great, we weren’t aiming for times but that was an added bonus. We’ve now got data on the bike which is brilliant to get some feedback on the little Aprilia RS660.
