Storm Stacey will line up with Alpha Racing by GRYD at this year’s North West 200, marking a return to the event after the team secured a podium finish in 2025.
Storm said: “I really enjoyed riding the BMW Superbike last season and have heard good things about the stock bike, so I’m looking forward to getting out on it. It’s also nice to be back in the BMW family, even if it’s just for one event.”
Nathan Smith Team manager said: “Its great to have Storm riding the superstock bike for us at the NW200. With this being Storm’s first introduction to road racing, it will be all about learning the circuit and completing as many laps as possible. Storm is an incredibly talented rider, and I am 100% sure we can give him the equipment to do the job in the Alpha racing BMW.”
The team would also like to thank Michael Rutter for allowing Storm to ride the Superstock bike with the team, coming away from his main duties on the Bathams Superbike.
