SIC Racing unveil their 2024 livery for their JuniorGP bike

The MTHelmets-MSi team will officially kick off the 2024 season today with a livery unveiling event for this season held in Madrid, Spain. Ivan Ortola and Ryusei Yamanaka will compete in the Moto3 category, Ai Ogura and Sergio Garcia in Moto2, Miquel Pons and Oscar Gutierrez in MotoE, and Hakim Danish, in the JuniorGP Championship, completing the lineup of MTHelmets-MSi team riders. The JuniorGP team will be named SIC Racing-Msi.

Hakim Danish competed full-time in the European Talent Cup (ETC) category for the last 2 years and for this season, Hakim Danish will embark on a new challenge and will compete in the JuniorGP category – as the only rider for the MTHelmets-MSi team in JuniorGP.

The team structure in FIM JuniorGP this year is also different from last season. Zulfahmi Khairuddin serves as the manager of the SIC Racing-MSi team, alongside one crew member from Europe, and three other crew members from Malaysia.

The FIM JuniorGP Championship will begin on 21st April 2024, with the Emilia-Romagna Circuit in Italy set as the season opener.

Hakim Danish – Rider

“Making my debut in the JuniorGP category this season is a dream come true. I am very grateful to MTHelmets-MSi and ZK Racing for giving me this opportunity. Throughout the off-season, I have been training to build a strong foundation in preparation for the season ahead. I want to do my best for myself, my team, and to learn as much as possible to showcase my best performances even in my rookie year. I also want to thank SIC and KBS for continuing to believe in and support me.”

Zulfahmi Khairuddin – Team Manager

“I am thrilled to realize this opportunity. Establishing a team alongside the MT team in FIM JuniorGP with our rider Hakim Danish and also several crew members from Malaysia. This is the dream structure for ZK Racing to advance to the next level with Malaysian riders. With Hakim Danish’s experience racing in Europe, I believe this is the right year for Hakim Danish to move up to the FIM JuniorGP level. Thanks to the team manager of MT Helmets, Jordi Gatell, for believing in this project. Also, thanks to all the sponsors who made all of this possible.”
