PTR Triumph target strong results in Aragon

The FIM Supersport World Championship heads to Spain this weekend for Round 10 of the 2025 season at the Motorland Aragon circuit, with PTR Triumph ready to power into the final quarter of the year.

After a hard fought third place at Magny-Cours last time out, Tom Booth-Amos is chasing his ninth podium finish of the season at the demanding 5.07km Spanish venue.  Currently third in the overall World Championship standings with just three rounds remaining, the British rider is aiming to maintain his momentum in the title fight.

Tom Booth-Amos: “I’m looking forward to getting back racing this weekend and give a big push for the final three rounds. Aragon is a good circuit for us so I’m hoping to continue our form of recent rounds.”

Teammate Oli Bayliss arrives in Spain determined to build on the impressive speed and form he showed in France three weeks ago.  The Australian rider delivered standout performances at Magny-Cours and is eager to translate that pace into strong results at Aragon.

Oli Bayliss: “Really excited to go to Aragon. It’s such a cool track to ride on. The speed has been good lately so we need to try and keep the ball rolling and aim to have some good last rounds. The longer corners should help us a little bit as well.”

PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “With three rounds to go we are third in the championship, back on the podium in France so we are in a good position and we go to Aragon in good spirits.   Also for Oli, although he got taken out in qualifying and had to start from the back of the grid, we did the right thing resulting in two fantastic rides, the second one even into the top ten so he also has really good pace.  The track at Magny-Cours seemed to suit the Yamaha’s characteristics, I mean, all the bikes are good everywhere but I think  Aragon will be a good track for us.  We need to make them all count now. We want Oli firmly in the top six and we need Tom challenging for the top three like he has the majority of this season to cement our place in the championship.”
