After a standout weekend in Italy with two hard fought second place finishes, PTR Triumph’s Tom Booth-Amos arrives at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic for round five of the 2025 FIM Supersport World Championship full of confidence – and with his sights firmly set on the top step of the podium.
The double podium at Cremona underlined Booth-Amos’ speed and consistency and with momentum on his side, the focus shifts from podiums to pushing for another victory at the 4.2km Autodrom Most this weekend.
Tom Booth-Amos: “I’m looking forward to heading to Most this weekend. It’s a circuit I was doing well at last year before I fell ill and had to miss the second race. I hope we can carry on the form from Cremona here.”
Teammate Oli Bayliss heads into round five with growing confidence. Scoring points in both races at the last round marked a clear step forward in his season and the young rider is focused on keeping the upward trajectory at one of his favourite tracks.
Oli Bayliss: “I’m excited to go racing in Most – one of my favourite tracks on the calendar. We made good progress last time out on the bike so I’m keen to keep the momentum rolling. Hopefully we will have a good weekend.”
PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “We arrive at Most on the back of two second places for Tom and back in the solid points for Oli, so good steps forward and a great job by the team. We arrive here in confident mood, it’s been a good track for us in the past, our first podium was with Stefano Manzi here. Tom is on good form and Oli is looking to make another step. After finishing second we are looking for Tom to challenge for the podium and try to get another win and to get Oli well inside the top ten. Looking forward to the weekend, let’s see what we can do.”
World Supersport actions kicks off with Free Practice on Friday at 09:40hrs (local time).
