PTR Triumph Racing returns to home soil this weekend as the FIM Supersport World Championship arrives at Donington Park for Round Eight of the 2026 season.

Booth-Amos heads into his home round on the back of his third podium finish of the 2026 campaign after a superb second-place finish in Race Two at Misano. The British rider has demonstrated front-running pace throughout the season, consistently challenging for podiums and establishing himself as a leading contender.

For Booth-Amos, the annual visit to Donington Park carries extra significance. Racing in front of a home crowd provides added motivation, and after showing race-winning pace throughout this season, the Shropshire rider will be determined to reward the British fans with another podium challenge aboard the Triumph Street Triple RS.

Teammate Oli Bayliss arrives at Donington Park full of confidence after a strong run of form. The Australian has established himself as a consistent top-ten contender in the FIM World Supersport Championship this season and claimed two podium finishes, while also enjoying success during his loan appearances with Triumph’s British team in the domestic championship where he has already secured four podiums including two victories, providing a timely confidence boost ahead of the team’s home round.

Donington Park’s 4.023km Grand Prix circuit is one of the most historic tracks on the World Superbike calendar. Its flowing layout rewards commitment and precision, while the stop-start final sector frequently creates close racing and overtaking opportunities.

The team looks forward to welcoming its partners, supporters and home fans to Donington Park for what promises to be another closely contested weekend of World Supersport action, with both Booth-Amos and Bayliss aiming to keep PTR Triumph Racing firmly among the front runners.

Tom Booth-Amos: “Racing at Donington Park is always one of the highlights of the season for me. It’s my home race so to be lining up as a British rider on a British Triumph for a British team in front of the home fans makes it even more special. We were close with two second-place finishes here last year, so the aim is to go one better this weekend. The support of the British crowd always gives you a boost so I’m really looking forward to getting out on track and hopefully giving them something to cheer about.”

Oli Bayliss: “I’m really keen for Donington Park, the last few race weekends have been pretty good so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do. Donington is a track I enjoy riding a lot so we’ll see how we get on for the team’s home round.”

PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “We head to our home round at Donington Park in confident mood. Tom is on the back of second place finish in the last round at Misano. Oli is running strong in the World Supersport Championship with two podiums already and in between, riding in the British Championship and won on Sunday at Snetterton, so both riders are in good form. Realistically we have to look to challenge for the podium with both riders. Oli was quite fast here last year and he’s in good form so we need to get the best out of Oli, the best out of Tom and have both challenging at the front. It’s our home race we will be giving everything we can together as a team unit to challenge for victory.”
