Thruxton has always presented a unique challenge for the Hager PBM Racing Team, and with temperatures pushing well into the 30s on Friday, we knew it was going to be a demanding weekend.

With this being only Scott’s second visit to the circuit since 2019, tyre management was always going to be a key factor. Thruxton’s abrasive surface demands a careful strategy – knowing where and when to push, while preserving the tyre over the longer races, can make all the difference.

Despite the challenges, Scott Redding and the team worked tirelessly throughout the weekend, coming away with a superb second place after an intense battle with Kyle Ryde, Bradley Ray and Ryan Vickers in race two, having already earned a top-five finish in Saturday’s opening race.

Unfortunately, Scott was unable to finish the last race of the weekend after coming together with another rider on track during the first lap.

The team now has a weekend to reset before Cadwell Park over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
