Since our last round up, Toprak Razgatlioglu broke the record for the number of consecutive WorldSBK race wins, Mike Browne won the Manx GP, Tommy Bridewell and Kyle Ryde shared the spoils at Cadwell Park and LCR Honda announced that Taka Nakagami will be moving to a test rider role, with Somkiat Chantra joining the team for 2025.

Mike Browne wins the Manx GP Classic Superbike Race

Browne claimed victory by 13.973 seconds with the race being stopped after one lap due to worsening conditions and his win was the first ever for the Ducati 916 around the Mountain Course. It was also Ducati’s first victory since Rob Holden won the 1995 Singles TT race.

LCR Honda rider Taka Nakagami to become a HRC development rider, while Somkiat Chantra will ride for the team in 2025

After seven seasons of unwavering dedication and intense collaboration, Nakagami has decided to embark on a new chapter in his sporting career. The upcoming races of 2024 will be the last with LCR, but his legacy will continue to inspire generations of riders.

Thai rider Somkiat Chantra, a promising talent in the MotoGP™ world, will join forces with the IDEMITSU Honda LCR in 2025. This historic move marks Chantra as the first Thai rider to step into the MotoGP™ category, a momentous occasion for the sport.

Toprak Razgatlioglu does the treble again and breaks the record for the most consecutive WorldSBK wins

Toprak Razgatlioglu is the first rider in the history of the FIM Superbike World Championship to achieve the incredible streak of 13 consecutive victories. The BMW Motorrad factory rider won all three races from pole position on his ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team BMW M 1000 RR at Portimão, securing his fourth consecutive hat-trick.

Kyle Ryde dominates Cadwell Park
