PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team heads to Motorland Aragón this weekend for round six of the FIM Supersport World Championship as the team reaches the halfway point of the 2026 season.

Following a dramatic weekend at Most, both Tom Booth-Amos and Oli Bayliss arrive in Spain encouraged by their speed and determined to convert performance into consistent championship results.

Motorland Aragón’s 5.077km layout presents a different challenge to the flowing nature of Most, with its combination of long straights, heavy braking zones and technical final sector demanding confidence under braking and strong race management. 

Fresh from securing his second podium of the season at Most, Bayliss travels to Aragón carrying momentum after another weekend that underlined his growing confidence and consistency at the front of the field. The Australian remained in the fight throughout both races in the Czech Republic and was rewarded with a dramatic podium finish in race two after maintaining pressure inside the leading group.

Oli Bayliss: “I’m really excited for Aragón weekend, hoping we can kick off where we finished last round.  The feeling is good and we have been fast so we need to use this for some confidence.  Let’s see what we can do.”

For Booth-Amos, Aragón presents an immediate opportunity to bounce back after leaving Most with less reward than his pace deserved. The British rider once again demonstrated race-winning speed, recovering strongly from difficult moments across the weekend and putting himself firmly into podium contention in race two before suffering late heartbreak. Despite the result, his front-running pace provides plenty of promise heading into the next round.

Tom Booth-Amos: “The last couple of races didn’t go the way we expected but we’ve kept working hard and learning from every weekend.  I’m really looking forward to Aragon now – it’s a track I enjoy and hopefully we can put everything together to get the maximum potential out of both myself and the bike.  We’ll keep pushing and aim for a strong weekend!”

The first half of the season has already delivered podium finishes for both riders and shown the strength of the PTR Triumph Racing Factory package across a variety of circuits and conditions. As the championship enters its second half, the focus now shifts towards consistency, maximising points opportunities and turning proven pace into regular podium challenges.

With confidence building and momentum continuing to grow, the PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team arrives at Motorland Aragón ready to fight at the front once again.

PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “We are at the half point of the season.  We have had three podiums this season so it’s not all bad. Oli was on the box in the last race and Tom slid off on the last lap of race two out of third place so both riders have the pace.  The team is working well, the bikes are working well so we need to work with Oli and Tom in the best way we can to make sure we get the best out of them, get the best out of our package as a team and look for very strong results because both riders have the pace to challenge for the podium.  We need to make it happen.”
