#5 Johann Zarco – 8th (1’57.741) – Practice
“It’s a solid result to be straight into Q2. The morning session was challenging, but we made significant progress in practice. I was able to set a strong lap time, and I’m pleased with the work we’ve done. Tomorrow’s conditions will be important, our goal is to fight for a spot on the front row in qualifying and to do a strong Sprint, we’ve got potential.”
#35 Somkiat Chantra – 22nd (1’59.648) – Practice
It’s nice to be back with my team and racing again. Today was a challenging day because at some points, I still feel some pain. I need to get back into the rhythm again. I’ll try to take a step forward tomorrow because I know it’s a process, and I want to work hard to reach our goals.”
#5 Johann Zarco – 5th – Sprint
I’m pretty happy after today! Starting from ninth position on this track is tough, especially because the first corner is very demanding. I tried to manage the situation, got a good start, and from there I was able to control the bike the way I wanted, especially my pace and traction. That gave me an advantage with my riding style, and I really enjoyed the battles with my rivals. This fifth place is a great result! I’d like to thank the team, the sponsors, and everyone who believes in us. We’ll try to repeat this performance tomorrow!”
#35 Somkiat Chantra– 21st – Sprint
After the third lap, I started to struggle with my arm. I wanted to finish the Sprint, gather information, and see how I felt. Tomorrow will be difficult, but I will try my best. Thanks to the team for the great work.”
#5 Johann Zarco – 2nd – Race
I felt good throughout the weekend because I was able to control and ride the bike the way I wanted. This result is the outcome of many small steps forward coming together. Securing a second consecutive podium is incredible. Today, I focused on managing tyre wear as best as I could to ensure strong performance in the final stages of the race, and the strategy paid off. Huge thanks to the team and to HRC, this confirms that we can do great things and that we’re constantly improving.”
#35 Somkiat Chantra – 19th – Race
It was a difficult race. Even though I wanted to push and get the most out of the bike, my arm didn’t allow me to ride the way I wanted. I’ll keep focusing on my recovery so I can feel stronger in Aragon. I’d like to thank the team for their job this weekend.”
