We recently designed bespoke Paint Protection Kits for DAO Racing’s ZX-10RR superstock and superbike (see the blog here) and now we can show you the difference between the panels fitted with our Paint Protection compared to those without it.

These photos show Dean’s fairing without the Paint Protection fitted after he had completed practice on Tuesday around the North West 200 course. (The team forgot to fit this piece, although something tells us they won’t forget again). As you can see, it is peppered with chips and marks and needs a respray.

In stark contrast, the opposite fairing completed practice unscathed. Our Paint Protection Film absorbing the potential stone damage and even self healing (a little heat applied will reseal the film if needed, it can be just rubbed with your finger to do this).

Here is a side by side shot to show the difference in condition even more clearly.

What’s more is Dean’s nose took a hit from a big stone. The team told us that if our Paint Protection Kit hadn’t been fitted, it would have gone straight through the fairing!

This is an extreme test of our Paint Protection Kit, which shows that with regular road riding, it’ll easily protect your bike.

We also sell our film in sheets in case you want to cover extra areas such as forks and swingarms, or have a bike that we don’t currently have a kit for.
