All five Honda Racing UK riders successfully completed the two-day test at Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire, gaining precious track time and insights ahead of the first round of the Zyn British Superbike Championships on 02nd-04th May.

“I’m pleased with the inputs of not just our riders, but the crews built around those riders. The team feeling that we built on at the Donington Park test shone through. It’s not easy running five bikes out of what is a relatively small garage space and I was pleased to see cool heads and calm hands everywhere I looked during this test. In terms of pace, I think as the season gets underway we’ll see Dean and Jack supporting each other really well when they can in the supersport class. Ryan and Jason are at different points of their individual testing and setup development, so it’s not quite as clear to see how closely they might be on race day. We won’t have to wait long to find out and I know both riders are confident there’s more pace to come. It’s hard to think of new things to say for John McGuinness, he found session leading pace on day one in the Superstock class and still felt like there was more to give. Happy riders are fast riders and John certainly looked happy from where I was standing.

We look ahead to round one with optimism and confidence, our preparations are complete and we are ready to go racing.”
