National Moto3 rider Hakim Danish Ramli has put the disappointment of Silverstone behind him and is now ready to mount a comeback at the Aragon Grand Prix this weekend.

Hakim Danish was forced to retire from the British Grand Prix early after being hit by another rider, resulting in a crash. However, the incident has not dampened the 19-year-old’s spirit, instead serving as motivation to come back stronger in Aragon.

Following the British Grand Prix, Hakim Danish stepped up his training intensity and made several improvements as part of his preparations for the next round.

Aragon holds special memories for the Terengganu-born rider, having won Race 2 of Round 3 of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2025. Starting from seventh on the grid, Hakim Danish produced a strong comeback before overtaking his rivals through the final corners to secure victory.

The victory ended his wait for a win in the Red Bull Rookies series after five runner-up finishes, making Aragon one of the most special circuits in his career.

After 12 rounds, Hakim Danish currently sits eighth in the Moto3 World Championship standings with 86 points and is third in the Rookie of the Year classification. He is just 11 points behind Indonesian rider Veda Pratama, who sits second with 97 points, while Brian Uriarte leads the standings with 127 points.

With his previous success at Aragon, Hakim Danish believes the experience will provide an added confidence boost as he looks to fight for a stronger result and return to the points after an unfortunate weekend at Silverstone.

“After the British Grand Prix, I reviewed the areas where I needed to improve and made several adjustments during training.

I also studied my Red Bull Rookies race at Aragon as part of my preparation for this weekend. I have trained harder and I am ready to give my best.

I come into this round with confidence and I am ready to compete. I know where I currently stand in the championship, and there are still plenty of points available. I have also won at Aragon before, and that experience will certainly give me additional confidence.

I want to use that experience, together with all the preparation I have done, to come back stronger in Aragon. I will give everything I have and fight all the way to achieve a positive result.”

“Aragon is certainly a race that we have been looking forward to. I believe the circuit suits Hakim Danish’s riding style, and he has also enjoyed a lot of success there in previous seasons, particularly in the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

However, everything will ultimately depend on Hakim’s feeling on the bike and the weather conditions throughout the weekend. As we know, Aragon can be quite unpredictable, with strong winds and heavy rain sometimes making conditions challenging.

Hopefully, the weather remains stable and Hakim can have a strong practice session and secure a place in Q2. That will be crucial for him to be able to fight at the front of the field this weekend.

During the break, I have been working closely with Hakim to make the necessary preparations for this race, and we are ready to give our best in Aragon.”
