Hakim Danish delivers a consistent performance at the Portugese GP

Hakim Danish concluded the Moto3 World Championship race in 12th position at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal, earning four valuable points in the world championship standings.

The race weekend began with the Free Practice 1 (FP1) session, where Hakim finished 22nd. During the Practice session, he showed significant improvement, finishing 12th and securing a spot in Qualifying 2 (Q2) among the 14 fastest riders. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side in Q2 as he suffered a crash early in the session and ended qualifying in 17th position.

The race took place under excellent weather conditions, and Danish displayed a consistent performance throughout. Despite starting from 17th on the grid, he remained competitive and challenged other riders during the race. Danish eventually crossed the finish line in 12th position, collecting four valuable championship points.

Zulfahmi Khairuddin: “Danish’s performance this weekend showed good progress. Although he crashed during qualifying and started from 17th on the grid, overall, he did well. There are still a few areas that need improvement, but I know both he and the team gave their best. We can see the potential in Danish, and I hope he’ll be fighting in the front group at the ValenciaGP. Overall, I’m pleased with the four points earned, congratulations to Danish for a solid performance.”

“The Portuguese GP is a huge opportunity for the team (SIC Racing), giving Danish the chance to replace Yamanaka. To be honest, it’s going to be a very busy month for Danish, with four consecutive weekends of racing. I just hope he can stay healthy throughout this period and remain competitive in both the Moto3 and JuniorGP World Championship.”
