Eazi-Grip supported Ten Kate Racing Yamaha ready to race in Aragon

After a good pre-season, Ten Kate Racing Yamaha ready for the season opener at Motorland Aragon with their riders Dominique Aegerter and Galang Hendra Pratama. For Aegerter it will be his debut with the Yamaha R6 in the World Supersport Championship, whilst Hendra Pratama is starting his second season in this category.

After a long wait, the season for Ten Kate Racing Yamaha gets off to a full start with two back-to-back race weekends. Starting this weekend (21st to 23rd of May) at Motorland Aragon in Spain, followed by the second round of the World Supersport Championship at the Estoril circuit in Portugal. This year, two races are scheduled each round, which are held on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. The full schedule of the Aragon round can be after the quotes.

Dominique Aegerter: “I’m really looking forward to my first World Supersport race with Ten Kate Racing Yamaha. I’m also a bit nervous, because it’s a completely new class for me. We had a great test in Aragon and were very fast. We will do everything we can to get a good position from the first session and working on the best possible setup for the bike. I don’t think that the switch from MotoE to the Yamaha R6 will be a problem, because the bikes are so different. I’m really looking forward to see the team again, because they already feel like family.”

Galang Hendra Pratama: “I learned a lot during the pre-season tests. I think we can make a big step in Aragon and be faster than the test by improving the setup of the bike and my riding style. Besides that, I have been training hard in Spain in the last months. My goal is to fight for a top-ten position and to stay as close to the front as possible. I’m ready for it”

Team manager Kervin Bos: “It’s time to start racing: I think that’s the feeling of everyone. On both sides of the team we are technically ready, as are the riders. Dominique has already been on track a lot, including in MotoE. Galang’s preparation has also gone well and he has trained a lot in Spain in recent months. In Aragon, all the cards will be on the table for the first time. I can say that we are all travelling to Aragon with a good feeling and we are well prepared. Let’s go racing!”
