Jason O’Halloran topped the second Bennetts British Superbike Championship Official Test session at Donington Park, narrowly moving ahead of his McAMS Yamaha teammate to hold the leading position at the chequered flag.

O’Halloran had just missed out in the opening session to Danny Kent, but this afternoon he was back ahead, to set the fastest time of the test so far to hold the advantage over his teammate.

Christian Iddon led the VisionTrack Ducati charge in third place, moving ahead of Kyle Ryde in the closing stages of the session, whilst Honda Racing completed the top five with Glenn Irwin.

Defending champion Josh Brookes was sixth fastest ahead of Danny Kent and Gino Rea as the Buildbase Suzuki pairing were inseparable in the closing stages of the hour-long session.

Peter Hickman and Lee Jackson completed the top ten ahead of the final session that will end pre-season testing ahead of the season opener at Oulton Park.
