Donington Park was the destination for us this weekend to catch up with our supported teams at the World Superbikes.
It was hot!
We arrived Saturday morning and immediately headed to the garages. First up was Tommy Bridewell’s team Superbike Advocates Racing. We dropped off some of our cut-your-own sheets with Team Manager Alan Jackson and Crew Chief Mick Shanley, then got to work on their bespoke design. Trace was applied to the tank and Tommy advised where he would like the grip to be. Once the shape was drawn, the trace was rolled up ready to be drawn up at the office. Test pieces will be sent to the team to check the fit before the final Tank Grips will be cut and sent for the rest of the season.

Superbike Advocates have been cutting their own shapes from our sheets, which can be seen on these photos, so we are designing Tommy a bespoke Tank Grip. (The spare bike was in a red tent, hence the colour, and we think it was the hottest part of Donington that weekend).
Next up was the Kawasaki WorldSBK and WorldSSP teams. Their order of ZX-6R Evo Tank Grips was dropped off with the mechanics for the Supersport bikes of Dominique Aegerter and Jeremy Alcoba.
We have recently signed a new WorldSSP team, QJMotor. It was great to meet Project Leader Nicola Sartori Vomiero. They will be using our clear Evo material on their SRK 800 RS bikes after the Summer break.
We also chatted to our supported team Scars Racing. Owner Leigh Finlay was there with Luke Stapleford. He told us they got the opportunity to race at WorldSSP in between BSB rounds. Leigh maintained that BSB is their main priority and this was just an opportunity they didn’t want to pass up. It was interesting in hearing about the difference in rules between WorldSSP and BSB Supersport and their Panigale V2 looked stunning.
Ten Kate Racing was the next stop. The team uses our Silicone Wrap Around Tank Grips and matte Paint Protection on their R9 Supersport bikes. We designed a bespoke Paint Protection Kit for their fairings and front mud guard, and they helped us design the Wrap Arounds for both the R9 and R6. They actually use the design for the R6 on their R9 bikes. Can and Yuki don’t reach the end of the R9 tank with their legs, so prefer the smaller shape of the R6.

The front mud guard Paint Protection was tested with a gap to show how the film prevents track debris damaging the team’s fairings and leading panels.
Lunch was provided by Ten Kate (It was yummy! Meat and veg kebabs with chips and salad, plus tiramisu for pudding if you wanted to know).
We then spent the rest of the weekend watching the racing from various points around the track including Melbourne Hairpin, Craner Curves, Schwantz Curve and the Fogarty Esses.
Congratulations to our supported teams and riders, PTR Triumph and Tom Booth-Amos who won both Supersport Races, Tommy Bridewell who finished P5 and 6 and Jermey Alcoba who secured Kawasaki’s first 2026 podium.
Our meeting with MGM Racing was unfortunately postponed due to Tarran Mackenzie suffering a crash on Friday in FP2. We wish him a speedy recovery.
