#11 Diogo Moreira – 17th (1’20.322) – Practice
“It’s great to ride on a MotoGP track. It’s a short circuit, so finding the perfect line isn’t easy. We’re also working on improving the bike because we’ve been struggling to put together a strong lap in time attack. Hopefully, we can make another step forward tomorrow.”
#35 Cal Crutchlow – 18th – Sprint
“Qualifying was not the best session, and then we took a gamble with the bike setup for the race, a setting I’d never ridden before, so considering everything, I’m pleased with the outcome. I took a step forward during the race, which is a positive. We struggled with a few things today that we can hopefully fix for tomorrow. Overall, I’m happy with today’s performance. Let’s see how it goes on Sunday!”
#11 Diogo Moreira – 10th – Sprint
“It’s a nice track to ride, but the race is difficult because there’s only one racing line. We survived the Sprint and we’re happy with the result, although it’s a challenging track for our bike. I pushed as much as possible while staying in control and avoiding mistakes, so I’m pleased with the job we did. We’re missing some grip, so let’s see what we can do tomorrow.”
#35 Cal Crutchlow – DNF – Race
”I had some problems during the race. In the end, I made a mistake and crashed. Still, I really enjoyed battling with some of the other riders, that was great. Overall, we can be pleased with the performance. I gained more track speed, improved the feeling with the bike and, most importantly, got more valuable track time. I’ll always prefer crashing while fighting for positions than finishing the race at the back.”
#11 Diogo Moreira – 11th – Race
“Super long race! Thirty laps was a lot. I tried to stay focused, avoid mistakes and manage the race well. We survived and scored some points, which is always important. With the new grid procedure, it was difficult to get a better start. I stayed with the group and gathered information to improve, which was important.”
