DesmoSport Ducati unveil new livery for the 2025 ASBK campaign

The covers are finally off the DesmoSport Ducati Panigale V4 R that Broc Pearson will race in the 2025 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), kicking off today at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

The bike itself, a Panigale V4 R featuring the Ducati V4 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R Evo engine, capable of up 16,500rpm, is effectively the same machine mechanically as that campaigned in 2024, with the addition of the ASBK-specification MoTeC electronics package developed, and continuing to be developed, by the DesmoSport Ducati team.

**Since advanced electronics were pushed into the ASBK, DesmoSport Ducati has supported the use of Ducati’s homologated Magnetti Marelli Superstock specification ECU. That ECU is no longer in production with no replacement, so to continue to build race bikes, DesmoSport Ducati began developing the ASBK-approved ECU.
