Dean Harrison smashed the lap record three times in the Ellan Vannin Fuels Senior race on Wednesday evening as the Honda Racing rider secured a double at the Southern 100.
Harrison was close to his outright lap record at the Billown course after another scintillating performance in the sunshine.
He also set a new race record for the Ellan Vannin Fuels race in 15m 33.637 (114.713mph).
The Yorkshireman, who won the Peel Holdings Senior race on Wednesday morning, wrapped up another emphatic victory from Mike Browne (MB Racing/Russell Racing Honda) and Nathan Harrison (H&H Motorcycles Honda).
Michael Dunlop was a retirement for the second successive race on his MD/Hawk Racing Honda after running in fifth.
Southern 100 newcomer Peter Hickman led the race on the first two laps before Harrison took over on the exit of Ballakeighan on the third lap.
Hickman, third in his first race at Billown in the earlier Senior race, was holding second place from Browne when he ran on at Ballakeighan on lap four.
With clear road in front of him, Harrison first smashed the lap record for the race on the fourth lap with a speed of 116.565mph. The 37-year-old raised the bar to 116.628mph on the fifth lap before going quicker for a third consecutive lap with a speed of 116.799mph on the penultimate lap of seven.
He had pulled a commanding lead over Cork rider Browne, who was making only his second appearance at the Southern 100 on a 1000cc machine.
Harrison’s winning margin was 8.171s over Browne, who had 3.488s in hand over Nathan Harrison.
Paul Jordan took fourth on the Jackson Racing Honda, 11.436s behind Nathan Harrison, while the top six was completed by Joe Yeardsley and Hickman.
Marcus Simpson and Rob Hodson rounded out the top eight.
