Davey Todd to race with Peter Hickman at the Daytona

Davey Todd will be riding the Street Triple 765 at the Daytona International Speedway 200, as well as in the Supersport classes at the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT Races, alongside Peter Hickman with the PHR Performance Racing Team.

Davey commented: “I’m super excited to be joining the team for the Daytona 200 and also on the roads. It’ll be my first time at Daytona, not only to watch but also to compete in the event itself; it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for years and to be on the Triumph, a winning bike, alongside my good friend Pete is going to be really fun. We already know the Street Triple is competitive on the roads from what Hicky has done; I have also battled against him, so know first-hand how strong the bike is. I’m super excited to get going with this project with Daytona first, a huge thanks to the guys at Triumph Racing and also to PHR and Pete for putting this together for me.”

Peter added: “I’m really excited for 2026, our Triumph project with PHR Performance has already been really strong and we’re looking to make it even stronger. Of course, going to the Daytona 200 this year with Davey as my teammate is really good; he has already had a few laps on the Street Triple 765 and likes it. Davey also joins PHR on the roads for the Supersport classes, alongside myself and Pierre, which is going to be awesome having three Triumphs on the grid with PHR Performance at the North West 200 and the TT Races. We also have some exciting news coming soon about a sponsor for the roads, so all in all it’s looking to be a really exciting season for us.”

Head of Global Racing Programmes for Triumph, Ian Kimber is equally excited: “It’s going to be an exciting year for Triumph with Peter’s factory supported PHR Performance team, where there will be more Triumph machinery lining up on the grid than ever before at both the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT Races. It’s also fantastic to see talent such as Davey join the squad and race the Street Triple on the roads and at the Daytona 200. Daytona holds a special place in Triumph’s racing history, after Brandon Paasch took victory in 2022, in what was the 765’s debut, so we’re looking forward to seeing what Davey and Peter can do as they push for victory in 2026.”
