After achieving their best results of the 2026 ZYN BSB season, DAO Racing head south to Norfolk and the Snetterton 300 circuit for Round Four of the Championship, as Josh Brookes and Lee Jackson aim to continue their progression aboard the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

The recent annual trip north of the border to Knockhill proved fruitful for the Cumbrian-based squad as they amassed a total of 42 points between them, collecting their best results of the campaign to boot. They now head to Snetterton with renewed confidence.

Brookes enjoyed a positive weekend in Scotland, making a breakthrough with the set-up of his Fireblade, and is hoping to build on that momentum at his UK ‘home’ circuit. The Australian has enjoyed plenty of success at the former airfield venue, taking several victories and podiums, and is aiming to add to that tally this weekend.

The ‘BadBoy’ sits just 19 points shy of the top six in the standings, and three solid points-scoring finishes could see him re-ignite his Championship challenge.

Likewise, his teammate Lee Jackson sits just 15 points off the top six in the Championship standings and, much like Brookes, is aiming to build on the momentum created north of the border.

‘LeeBob’, who is still feeling the after-effects of the injuries sustained in a crash at Round Two, believes the 2.9-mile track will suit his Fireblade due to its fast and flowing nature and is prepared to do battle this weekend.

The Snetterton 300 circuit, based in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, is a former RAF airfield that closed in 1948 and now plays host to some of the closest ZYN BSB action on the calendar. Its fast and flowing nature provides intense racing and makes it a real fans’ favourite year after year.

Josh Brookes: “We finished Knockhill on a positive note and that was from going in a new direction with the bike, so hopefully we can carry that positive energy into this weekend at Snetterton. Over the years, Snetterton has been a positive circuit for the Fireblade. I remember last year being a fairly strong weekend, building throughout and improving race by race.

“There are a lot of positives to reflect on heading into this weekend but, until we get there, get on track and assess the performance, it’s tricky to predict how we’ll fare. All the energy we have is positive, however, and that will only help us this weekend.”

Lee Jackson: “I’m really looking forward to heading back to Snetterton. It’s a circuit that I like and one that I feel will suit the Fireblade. Knockhill took more out of me physically than I realised, so to finish with the results we did, and just one place behind Josh in the last race, I felt we did a good job. The bike wasn’t in the best working window and I feel like we came away with less than we actually deserved.

“I’ve been working hard on my fitness to get myself back into the best possible shape heading into this weekend. Our aim is to be fighting for the top six and challenging for the podium. I want to ensure we get the bike working well on Friday, which will set us up nicely heading into the three races.”

Team Manager Jonny Bagnall: “We’re heading to Snetterton boosted with confidence, in all honesty. Even though the results at Knockhill weren’t much to write home about, in truth we made a lot of progress and it feels like we’re starting to get closer to where we want to be as a team.

“We’re hopeful that the breakthroughs we have made recently will translate on track at Snetterton. It’s a circuit that tends to suit the Honda a little more due to its characteristics, and the Fireblade has performed well there in the past, so we’re all hopeful of a positive weekend.”
