Carter Brown joins Binch Racing for the 2026 British Supersport campaign

Binch Racing is delighted to officially announce that Carter Brown has joined the team to replace Joe Talbot for the 2026 Quattro Group British Supersport campaign.
At Binch Racing, we have always believed that the future of British motorcycle racing lies in the hands of the next generation. Today, we are proud to reinforce that commitment by welcoming one of the most exciting young prospects in the paddock.
We believe the combination of Carter’s precision and the formidable power of the Italian V-twin is the perfect recipe for success. The Panigale V2 has become the benchmark for performance globally. The crew have been hard at work during the off season preparing his machine to ensure Carter has the best possible tool at his disposal.
Carter’s rise through the ranks has been nothing short of impressive. A two-time runner-up in the British Talent Cup and a standout performer in the 600cc ranks over the last two seasons, Carter has shown the maturity and race craft required to compete at the front of a world-class field.
A Word from Team Owner, David Binch:
“We have won races and enjoyed multiple podiums with Ducati so to continue our relationship into 2026 in British Supersport is really exciting.
The data we gathered last year during our rookie season on the Ducati’s is the perfect foundation for our 2026 campaign. This coupled with our pre season tests (which have already commenced) have revealed even more potential we can exploit. However I have learnt from my past mistakes that putting too much pressure on our young riders shoulders for instant results is not the best way to achieve success.
I have to remind myself the team have the experience, both our riders have endless talent, all this combined with our hardworking ethic, top machinery & amazing partners provides the ingredients for success in 2026.
I fear the biggest challenge our team faces in 2026 is the team owner “me” being patient. We all have our weaknesses and not having enough patience is one of mine…I’m taking patience lessons.
Can’t wait for the season to start!!”
Carter Brown had this to say:
“I am absolutely buzzing to be joining Binch Racing for the 2026 season. After a few years of learning the ropes in the Supersport class, I feel like I’ve found the perfect place to take that next big step in my career.
From my first conversations with David Binch, it was clear that we share the same vision. The team’s track record for developing young talent is second to none, and seeing how much they invest in their riders—both on and off the track—made this an easy decision for me.
I’ve had a great couple of years getting to this point, but now it’s time to push for more. The goal for 2026 is clear: I want to be at the front, fighting for podiums and putting the Binch Ducati in the title mix. I’m already training hard and can’t wait to get my leg over the V2 for our first test.
I want to say a massive thank you to David and the whole Binch team for believing in me, and to my personal sponsors who continue to make this dream possible. Let’s get to work!”
