Brayden Elliott’s Superbike debut at Oulton Park this weekend confirms he is ready for this progression.
With two more rounds of the 2023 season remaining, Elliott is looking forward to building on his Superbike knowledge and fitness.
With great support from the team, he showed true commitment to an opportunity he has been waiting for since his career begun.
Brayden Elliott, Superbike Rider:
‘Firstly thank you to the whole DAO Racing team for having my back, the team moral and support was amazing!
The jump to Superbike was definitely a steep learning curve however overall I’m happy with the progress made, constantly improving my feeling each session.
Excited for the final two rounds to continue building and adapting myself to the bike. Plenty to learn but loving the challenge!
Thank you everyone for the support.’
Jonny Bagnall, Team Manager:
‘It was a strong start to Brayden’s superbike career, with a couple of top 20 finishes he was running even stronger in the last race, which unfortunately he crashed out of as a result of a small mistake, but its all part of the learning process and just goes to show how tough the class is.
It’s been a good eye opener for him, with the new format in comparison to superstock and how much extra track time there is.
On Day 1 and 2 I think he was a little tense, nervous, but he got that out of the way with what was looking like to be two solid races on the Sunday, but obviously unfortunately he crashed out in Race 3, but that’s how it goes. Onwards and upwards to Donington, which is a strong circuit for him, so we look forward to further progression at the next round.’
