Brayden Elliott finishes P17 at Donington Park for DAO Racing

With the weather playing a key role in the race pace and predictability at Donington Park Circuit, with the rain resulting in a shorter race format. Elliott was full committed on the DAO Racing Kawasaki Superbike in his first wet race weekend and despite the challenging conditions, left his (UK) home circuit with P19 and 2 x P17. His highest finish so far.

With one round to go, he is looking forward to collecting more data, laps and Superbike fitness at the season finale in Brands Hatch.

Brayden Elliott, Superbike:

“Overall it’s nice to end the weekend on a positive. It was nice to be in the mix and battling with some of the guys, obviously the more I’m around people the more I’m learning.

Wet laps on the Superbike was a good thing to have, but the weekend didn’t come without it’s challenges, with a small crash on Friday. It’s been a challenge finding the right set up and getting comfortable on the bike, but I’m definitely making the most of it, and yes overall it was challenging but with a positive reward at the end.

Having family and friends over from Australia has been a great support.”

Jonny Bagnall, Team Manager:

“It was a weekend of mixed emotions, it was Brayden’s strongest result in the Superbike class so far, but obviously it was a weekend of learning and trying to progress, which he is doing and as a team we need to make some improvements. Everything is going in the right direction, so it is a positive weekend, but a tough one.

We’ll keep trying and come back out fighting again at Brands.”
