Race One
Bradley Ray delivered a determined performance to take victory in the opening ZYN British Superbike Championship race at Oulton Park as the McAMS Yamaha team celebrated victory after a six-way battle, with Kyle Ryde and Leon Haslam completing the podium.
At the start of the race, the AJN Steelstock bimotas both launched off the line to lead the pack with Max Cook leading rookie teammate Joe Talbot into Old Hall for the first time ahead of Bradley Ray, Storm Stacey and Leon Haslam with Kyle Ryde in eighth.
Storm Stacey had moved ahead of Ray on the opening lap but the McAMS Yamaha rider instantly fought back and by lap five he had moved into second place.
Talbot meanwhile had a moment at Cascades and that gave Stacey and Haslam the chance to move ahead on lap five. The lead group was a freight train of riders not wanting to give an inch and Cook was still holding the advantage ahead of Ray, Stacey, Haslam, Ryan Vickers and Scott Redding.
Ray grabbed the lead of the race on lap eight from Cook and there was a real tussle as Stacey fought back too, putting the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati at the front.
By lap nine Stacey was still holding the lead from Ray, Cook and Haslam with Ryde and Redding also part of the lead group after a tussle between the pair earlier in the race.
Ray first made a move on Haslam at Lodge with a stunning move around the outside on lap 11, before carrying the momentum into Old Hall on the next lap to regain the lead.
Ryde was on the attack too and the defending champion made his move on Stacey at Lodge on lap 12 as the champions held the leading three positions.
A focused Ray was pushing hard; he was holding off his rivals as Haslam continued to try to grasp the lead, which he nearly did at Island on lap 14 but his McAMS Yamaha rival held a determined line to deny him the opportunity.
Ray then held the edge to the finish, but Ryde was pushing Haslam for second place over the final laps, making his move on lap 16 and despite the Moto Rapido Racing rider trying to regain the advantage, he had to settle for third place behind the reigning champion at the chequered flag.
Stacey equalled his best result of the season in fourth place, but there was disappointment for Cook as he crashed out at high-speed at Cascades with three laps to go whilst holding fifth place in the pack.
Redding claimed fifth place for the Hager PBM Racing Team ahead of Vickers who held off Talbot and his Honda Racing UK teammate Jason O’Halloran. Christian Iddon and Glenn Irwin completed the top ten.

Race Two
Kyle Ryde claimed the victory in an incident-packed second ZYN British Superbike Championship race at Oulton Park as he snatched the lead on the penultimate lap from Bradley Ray with Scott Redding completing the podium.
At the start of the race, Ray launched into the lead for McAMS Yamaha ahead of Redding, Ryan Vickers and Storm Stacey with Ryde holding eighth place on the opening lap.
There were some early crashes in the race from Graeme Irwin and Dan Brooks at Shell on lap three, but meanwhile Ryde was working his way through the pack. By lap four, the reigning champion was up to fourth after passing Max Cook at Hislops.
Ray and Redding were heading the pack and setting an impressive pace, with Vickers holding third but Josh Brookes crashed at Druids on lap seven, and with gravel on track, the BMW Safety Car was deployed.
The pack lined up ready for the restart with Ray leading Redding, Ryde, Vickers and Cook, and when the race continued, Ryde instantly attacked to dive down the inside of Redding on the inside into Old Hall.
Ryde then had Ray in his sights and he made a move at Island on the penultimate lap, the McAMS Yamaha rider tried to fight back but his title rival had the edge and was able to hold him off to the chequered flag. Redding was frustrated with third, but made a return to the podium, as he was able to break Vickers and Cook.
Joe Talbot had another strong rookie performance in sixth place on the second of the AJN Steelstock bimotas, ahead of Jason O’Halloran and Stacey with Glenn Irwin and Christian Iddon completing the top ten.

Race Three
Kyle Ryde delivered a double win in the ZYN British Superbike Championship in the final race of the weekend at Oulton Park, holding off Scott Redding to take the victory as Bradley Ray completed the podium.
Ray got a lightning start from the Omologato Pole Position to lead Redding and Ryde into Old Hall for the first time, as Max Cook made a move on Ryan Vickers for fourth place on the second lap.
There was an early crash out of the race for Glenn Irwin on the second Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati at Hislops on lap two, and at the front Redding grabbed the lead with a move on Ray at Old all a lap later.
Redding was then holding the advantage at the front of the field, but behind Ryde was pushing Ray and he made a decisive move down the inside at Old Hall on lap five.
Leon Haslam meanwhile was also working his way through the pack as he bounced back from his race two crash and by lap six he was up to sixth place with a move on Vickers at Shell Oils corner.
Danny Kent’s race ended prematurely when he crashed the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha at Old Hall, whilst Christian Iddon also crashed at the same place three laps later.
At the front, Redding was holding the advantage until the Hager PBM Racing Team rider had a small moment at Hislops and that gave Ryde the momentum into Knickerbrook to strike and take the lead.
Ryde was then holding off Redding with Ray in third place to the chequered flag, whilst behind Vickers was able to battle off Haslam and Cook over the final four laps of the race.
Rory Skinner bounced back from his race two crash to take seventh place ahead of Storm Stacey and Ilya Mikhalchik with Lee Jackson completing the top ten.
