Australian Superbikes home round for DesmoSport Ducati

The fifth round of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) arrives at Morgan Park this weekend for the official home round of DesmoSport Ducati. At almost 3km, Morgan Park is a circuit that both the team and Broc Pearson have had strong results in the past, both individually and together.

Team co-owner, Ben Henry: “As a team, we’ve done a lot of laps at Morgan Park, particularly through covid when it was the only option available to us, and Broc did a great job when he guest rode the bike here with us last year. We finished Darwin in a good position on track and it’s our plan to pick up from where we left off and keep pushing forward through the top five”.

Team co-owner, Troy Bayliss: “Broc’s got some confidence after Darwin. He did a great job at a track that he didn’t have a lot of experience on, so to follow that with a track that he is comfortable on is a great position to be in right from the start. There’s always a lot of work to do to go fast with a field this competitive but I know Broc can get the job done.”

Broc Pearson: “Even though Darwin was only a few weeks ago, it feels like it’s been a long time since we went racing! It will be great to get back in the box along with Ken, Ben, Byron and the team and I’m feel pretty good heading into the weekend. We’re back to four practice sessions, two 16-lap races and Morgan Park is a track I know, so I’m ready to get straight into it from Friday”.
