It was a new season for the new look AMD, C&L Fairburn Properties Racing running Richard Kerr in the ZYN British Superbike class on a Honda. He secured a 21^st, 20^th and 18^th places respectively.

Richard suffered a big crash at the Donington test and unfortunately this put the team on the back foot missing a vital day of testing and track time. The team came to round one to keep developing the bike and pushing to find a comfortable set up for Richard.

They did make some progress throughout the weekend and look to move to round two with more information to help them be more competitive. They all dug deep and worked hard at Oulton Park to further their knowledge between rider and machine but they are feeling more confident leaving round one.

Richard – “It’s been a really tough weekend getting to grips with the Honda and we’ve been chasing our tail a bit to try and find a set up that I’m comfortable with.

We have done a number of laps and taking away some useful information for the next round at Donington Park. We just have to make some changes and try and find a good set-up that suits my riding style.

The team have worked really hard all weekend but unfortunately it just didn’t all click together and work how we would have liked it too.

We move forwards to Donington and we will go again.”

Sean Meighan – Team Manager – “It’s been more than a challenging weekend at Oulton Park and it is a real shame as everyone has really worked hard to get things right.

Richard never gave up in any race and continued to get more laps under his belt. It would have been easy for him to pull in but he persevered with it and gained more knowledge of the Honda.

We will regroup and work hard before Donington to get this feeling right for him.”
