Alastair Seeley delivers another podium for Synetiq BMW at Cadwell Park

After losing the out of luck Danny Buchan to injury early in the weekend, it was great to have Alastair Seeley on the Pirelli National Superstock podium in third place at Cadwell Park. The Ulsterman now moves up to third place in the championship standings on the SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR with just three rounds remaining.

Alastair Seeley: “Really happy to be on the podium at Cadwell Park. We’ve worked hard all weekend and it’s always nice to reward the TAS Racing team with a podium. We’re also leaving the weekend with third place in the championship standings. It’s now onto one of my favourite circuits, where hopefully we can retrieve the victory, we lost at the start of the year. Thanks again for all the support.”

Philip Neill – Team Principal: “First of all, we all wish Danny a speedy recovery after another unfortunate weekend where he was beginning to show himself back in the front group of runners in British Superbike. Racing can be cruel and I’m sure he will be back and has plenty to offer. Once again Alastair has given the team a podium and although not one of his favourite tracks, and possibly circumstances playing into our hands – it keeps him well in the championship mix on the TAS Racing prepared M 1000 RR.”
