#5 Johann Zarco – 6th (1’38.232) – Practice
“It was a positive Friday, and I was happy to have found the speed straight away. That’s good for the c
onfidence, and the front-end feeling confirms the good feeling from Malaysia. I was able to be fast, to push, and to set a good lap time, but we still need to improve the pace. We’re working hard to find the right solution. With both medium tyres the feeling was better in the afternoon, which was good. Securing a Q2 spot is positive, and now we’ll focus on having a solid qualifying to start from a strong position in the Sprint.”

#35 Somkiat Chantra – 20th (1’39.798) – Practice
“Today was crazy! I had a big wheelie in sixth gear. After it, I was shaking and lucky to save it. T
hroughout the day, I felt good; we’ve been working on different setups to feel comfortable on this track, which is demanding but really fun. I’ll try to give my best, to improve and do better tomorrow.”

#5 Johann Zarco – 7th – Sprint
“It was a good Saturday overall. Starting from the second row on the grid was positive, and during the race I made a s
trong start. It’s fair to say everything went well today; I was just missing a bit of pace. We’ve gained some speed, but there’s still room for improvement, and we’re working to find a solution. In any case, I really enjoyed the battles until the finish, it was great fun. Finishing seventh is a positive result, and I’m happy to be back in the points in Saturday’s Sprint. Let’s see what we can do tomorrow.”

#35 Somkiat Chantra – DNF – Sprint
“It’s been a tough day. I had a small problem with the clutch during the Sprint, so I decided to come into the pits. T
he team is checking and analyzing everything to understand the issue, make a step forward, and come back stronger tomorrow.”

#5 Johann Zarco – 9th – Race
“It’s good to score points again without crashing during the weekend, that was a small target after the struggles in Asia. I
t’s better to start from this perspective. The beginning of the race was quite good, although I couldn’t overtake Quartararo. After that, I struggled and tried to stay as close as possible. In the final stages, it wasn’t easy to keep the pace. I’m not riding the bike the way I want, and we’re trying to find a solution for that. Overall, this weekend has been positive, so we need to focus on that and keep working.”
#35 Somkiat Chantra – 17th – Race
“Today I struggled in the braking areas; at the beginning, it was difficult, I immediately lost the group. From the m
iddle of the race until the end, I tried to maintain my pace, but it was hard to set consistent lap times. In the final laps, I struggled with both the front and the rear. Overall, it was a tough weekend, but we’ll see what we can do in Valencia.”
