Danilo Petrucci will leave BMW at the end of the 2026 season

‘Petrux’ spoke about his future at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours where he announced that, mutually with BMW, there was a decision to not race in 2027. However, he did not rule out continuing with the German manufacturer in a different capacity or championship in the future.

Tarran Mackenzie ruled out of French round through injury

Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) will have to wait a bit longer for his MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship comeback. The #95 had hoped to be back on track at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours following the injuries he sustained at Donington Park, but a pre-round medical check means the Stirling-born rider will not take part in the Acerbis French Round.

The Kawasaki WorldSBK Team head to Magny-Cours this weekend

Team morale is high thanks to both the results achieved at the latest Donington Park round, which culminated in a podium for Jeremy Alcoba in WorldSSP Race 1, and the work completed on the bikes during the test at Cremona Circuit, which identified new solutions for use during the final part of the season.
