Advice for riding your motorcycle in the dark Winter months

Getting up for work it’s dark, getting out of work it’s dark, the nights are definitely drawing in. While there are some benefits to riding in the dark such as cooler temperatures, the hazards increase significantly with the lack of light. If you don’t put your bike away over Winter and continue riding through the year, have a read of our advice for staying safe.

Tommy Bridewell and Honda Racing UK part ways

Following two successful seasons racing together in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, Honda Racing and Tommy Bridewell have decided to conclude their collaboration.

LCR Honda Team have a very productive final round MotoGP weekend in Sepang

Johann Zarco and Somkiat Chantra took a haul of points from Sepang this weekend. Johann finished P2 in practice and P8 and P12 in the races, while home hero Chantra finished P20 in practice P17 in the Sprint Race and P15 in the Main Race.

INCompetition Aprilia sees Brad Perie climb from P35 to P10 at Brands Hatch

It was a diverse weekend for the INCompetition Aprilia Racing team this weekend at the final round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch. Brad Perie had never ridden a Superstock machine around Brands and it is one of the most difficult circuits on the calendar to learn.

It was a tough end to what has been a great experience for the entire team as they bow out of the series. Fortunately, Billy was able to secure a ninth place to finish the season at the last ever race for the team. 

Scott Redding does the double at Brands Hatch

Former BSB champion Redding, who won his title with PBM in 2019, returned to both the team and the British series after replacing the injured Glenn Irwin. And despite missing out the first three rounds of the season, Redding finished an impressive fourth in the standings, with his seven wins propelling the Hager PBM to third in the teams championship classification.

AJN Steelstock Kawasaki wrap up the BSB season at Brands Hatch

With extra points on offer and Christian not scoring, Max closed to within two points of his teammate’s points total, 272 plays 270. Somehow appropriate as their lap times have been so close all year. Christian really was on to finish third overall, but it just didn’t go his way on a few occasions. Max is just happy to have his third season on a superbike under his belt and with a load more experience gained.

Ilya Mikhalchik is crowned BSB Superstock Champion

“I want to say thanks to the team, they did an unbelievable job, no mistakes, a lot of wins, a lot of podiums," he said. "I’ve enjoyed the season and I’m happy so much.”

Rhys Irwin is crowned BSB Supersport Champion

“I so badly wanted to win this championship for everyone at Gearlink,” he said. "I can’t believe after all these years I’ve managed to win it for them. This is my life’s work and I’m so happy.”

Brad Ray and Raceways Yamaha end their impressive 2025 BSB campaign second in championship

The final round of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch saw Raceways Yamaha and Brad Ray take a hard-fought second-place finish in the championship standings. The team’s weekend at the iconic grand prix venue delivered a strong set of results for the crew, with Ray aboard the Yamaha R1 securing a trio of podium finishes to keep title hopes alive until the final race of the season.
