BMW WorldSBK Team ready to race again after 2 day Aragon Test

The test was held at Spain’s MotorLand Aragon circuit, the venue set to host Round 10 after the upcoming French Round at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours over the weekend of September 5th-7th. The test saw damp weather prevent most riders from taking to the track through most of the morning of Day 1. As conditions improved, more riders emerged from their garages; among that number was the German factory pair.

Nigel Snook’s Cadwell Park report for AJN Steelstock Kawasaki

What a weekend! Arriving at Cadwell and knowing that it wasn’t Christian’s favourite and that Max had to get ‘the Cadwell monkey’ off his back, we would definitely have settled for five top five finishes. Our AJN Steelstock Kawasaki ZX-10RR Ninjas may be one of the older models on the grid but they still make very competitive superbikes, as Christian and Max have been proving over the past three rounds.

Scott Swann’s Cadwell Park Race Report

Overall, I think the weekend went OK with a 17th and two 15th places – not quite our goal, but close to it. I think I made life a little more difficult for myself in the opening laps of each of the races and being hyper self-critical, I could have been a bit more aggressive off the line to protect my position but once settled, I made progress.

Moto Rapido battle through at Cadwell Park

We left Lincolnshire with mixed feelings: Ben retained his championship lead and gained a couple of points over Rhys Irwin, while Leon climbed two places in the Superbike standings into third. But both riders knew more was possible and that leaves extra motivation with just 10 days until Donington Park.
